Morro Bay Business Walk 2016

Note: Take the Business Walk Survey right here!

This event is sponsored in partnership with the City of Morro Bay, the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce and Morro Bay Life Newspaper. Please join us on Wednesday May 11, 2016 for this amazing community-enhancing event.

General Description:

This business walk is designed to capture the current climate, concerns, and needs of our local business community. With approximately 100 volunteers we will be surveying over 200 businesses (listed below) within 1 hour. A 4-question survey will be administered to each business. The information collected is vital to the growth and voice of our city and its business community!

Business Participants:

We are specifically targeting downtown Morro Bay and Embarcadero, and look forward to doing a business walk for Quintana and North Morro Bay in 2017. We ask that the businesses with addresses in the range listed below have a spokesperson present to respond on behalf of the business for this event. Any business that wishes to participate that is not listed below or isn’t in town can do so online during the date and time of the event. The link to the online survey will be available on this webpage May 11, 2016.

We look forward to seeing you there and thank you in advanced for your genuine feedback and cooperation!!

Volunteer Participants:

As many as 100 volunteers are needed to equip this event!  We are also seeking team lead volunteers who are willing to verbally administer the survey to a business representative. Volunteers will be a part of a three-member team. Each team will be assigned 10 businesses to survey. This is approximately a 2-hour commitment, with 1 hour being the physical walking of one block. Volunteers will meet in front of the Morro Bay Community Center (1001 Kennedy Way) on May 11, 2016 at 9:30 am for a training briefing. Coffee and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers!
