Summer Youth Ride Free Program
Local transit operators are welcoming aboard all K-12 youth to ride all fixed route transit for free.

The goal of the annual Youth Ride Free program is to give youth 18 years old and under positive exposure to transit services. Last year, there were over 57,000 youth rides countywide during the summer months. Students are invited to become county explorers on routes that provide safe daily transportation to many beach, wildlife, biking and recreational areas, libraries, historical sites and special events.

The Morro Bay Transit fixed route will provide free youth rides from June 1 through August 31.

Google Transit

Plan your transit trip in Morro Bay using Google Transit.  Morro Bay Transit is participating in a program from Google that allows customers to create transit trip plans using the familiar Google Maps interface. Routes, stop locations, times and transfers will all be shown on Google Maps.

Simply enter in your pick up and destination locations, then enter in what day and time you want to leave and let Google Maps do the rest. You will be provided with a list of transit routes available and information on such things as travel time, cost, and direction the bus is heading.

Good Neighbor Program
