Non-Resident Fee
As a matter of equity to Morro Bay residents, a $4 fee is levied to all non-residents using City sponsored recreation programs and facilities.

Late Registration Fee
Late Fees will be assessed according to the procedures of each activity/class for payments made after the due dates.

Refunds
A 20% administrative fee will be assessed for each refund requested. The customer must make refund requests in writing to the Recreation and Parks Department. Only a written request for the current activity/class period will be considered. Please allow 2-3 weeks for refund processing. If an activity/class is canceled by the Department, an automatic refund will be processed and mailed to the customer. Credits are also available and are normally not subjected to the 20% administrative fee.

Youth Scholarships
The Morro Bay Community Foundation provides financial assistance to qualified applicants living in Morro Bay, Cayucos, and Los Osos on a first-come, first-served basis. Instructors
In most cases, the instructors who lead activities or teach classes listed within this guide are Independent Contractors, and the scope of the curriculum rests with the instructor. The responsibility for learning rests with the instructor and participant.

Please be advised that participants in Recreation and Parks Department activities/classes are subject to being photographed. Photographs may be publicized in various ways to promote activities/classes.
