Employment Applications
Job applications may be obtained from the City of Morro Bay by either emailing your request to the Human Resources Division, downloading the application from the City's website, or by calling (805) 772-6207. A city job application must be filled out completely. A resume will not be accepted in lieu of filing a city application, but one may be attached as additional information.

The City of Morro Bay only accepts applications for current vacancies. If you wish to apply for more than one position, please fill out an application for each position. Incomplete applications without an original signature (faxes not accepted), or late applications (postmarks not accepted) will not be processed.

Part-Time Positions Available

MAINTENANCE AIDE
$11.22-12.14/hr
custodial and light maintenance duties; 20+ hours - days, weekends & some holidays
Open until filled 

RESERVE FIREFIGHTER
$8.00/hr
Responds with full-time staff to fires, rescues and medical aids; must live within 10 minute response time to Morro Bay station.
Physical Agility testing: Sunday, August 22nd and Interview date: Sunday, August 29th

RESERVE PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHER
$17.00/hr
