Residents Should Self-Quarantine If Close Contact Tests Positive for COVID-19

As COVID-19 cases increase in San Luis Obispo County, more people may come into close contact with someone who tests positive for the virus. Local health officials ask those individuals to self-quarantine until they get a call from a contact tracer.

State Issues Limited Stay at Home Order from Nov. 21 to Dec. 21

The State of California issued a statewide limited Stay at Home Order requiring that non-essential work, movement, and gatherings stop between 10 PM and 5 AM in counties in the purple tier, which includes San Luis Obispo County.
